Leon H. – Built for the future of maritime work

The Leon H. of TB Waterwerken is the first vessel deliverd by Werft Shipbuilding; a true innovation in the multicat segment. Designed for the most demanding tasks at sea, this ship brings together modern design and smart technology.

Full Automation By Marble

Marble Automation was responsible for the complete automation onboard the Leon H.. At the heart of the system is the AMC platform, offering full control over vital onboard systems:

  • Alarm system: The Marble MS2080 alarm system is the trusted central unit for all alarms onboard.
  • Tank monitoring: gives a clear and real-time overview of tank levels.
  • Engine and power control: monitors and controls the onboard power grid by reading the Sanfirden and Deif data.
  • Hydraulics and Work Light Control: Enables efficient operation of hydraulic systems and lighting during offshore work.

Unmanned machinery system

The Leon H. is also equipped with Marble’s UMS, fully integrated into the AMC. Using the MS2006 module in all relevant spaces, the UMS system ensures full visibility and control, even without constant crew presence in the engine room.

Navigation light control

For safe operations, the ship is fitted with the Marble MS225 Navigation Light Controller. This system not only controls the navigation lights but also monitors them – showing alters when lights are faulty or burn hours are reached.

Propulsion & Bow thruster control

Piet Brouwer Elektrotechniek B.V. developed together with Marble Automation the propulsion control system and bow thruster control system (MS1100). These are integrated into the AMC platform and give the captain smooth and reliable vessel maneuvering.

ESS Container – Innovation at Sea

The highlight of the Leon H. is the innovative ESS battery container, developed in close cooperation with Piet Brouwer Elektrotechniek B.V.. This energy storage system allows the vessel to sail fully electric or in hybrid mode. It can even charge while in operation. Marble Automation ensured safe communication between the vessel and the battery container.
