DSS Galatea ready for duty with Marble Automation

Marble Automation is proud to have contributed to the Dutch navy surveillance vessel DSS Galatea. This vessel, operated with the support of Gebhard Electro and Piet Brouwer Den Helder, was prepared for a special role during the Navo summit in The Hague. Our expertise in marine automation helped to equip the ship with reliable systems for safe and efficient operation.

For this project Marble Automation delivered the PLC setup, switches and the DNV certified Nottrot monitor.

We designed and installed a full alarm monitoring and control system. This includes a configurable alarm system, a clear tank overview page and a conning page based on NMEA data. With these functions the crew can rely on smooth operation and quick insight into all essential data. A key part of our delivery was the unmanned machinery system. This system makes it possible to operate without permanent crew in the engine room.

With these systems on board, DSS Galatea is ready for her tasks at sea. We are proud to have played our part in this mission.
