For Rijkswaterstaat Zuid-Holland, Marble Automation has supplied the control system for the ‘Maeslant’.
The ‘Maeslant’ is a training and patrol vessel specifically designed for monitoring and controlling the inland waters of the Netherlands.
This vessel plays a crucial role in carrying out various measurements and inspections on the water, ensuring the safety and quality of our waterways.
The control system provided consists of two powerful PLCs, two bright and user-friendly screens and a Navigation Light Controller (MS225) for the navigation lights.
This system ensures that the crew of the ‘Maeslant’ is always in control of the vessel, regardless of the conditions.
Marine Elektro Zeeland, an installation company in the maritime sector, installed our system on the ‘Maeslant’.
Thanks to their efforts and our technology, the ‘Maeslant’ is now equipped to perform her vital tasks on Dutch inland waterways with reliability.
The online commissioning and physical presence to go over the final points brought this to a nicely completed project.
