The Demi K. of Rodie Transport is a pusher tug, also used as a workboat, built for maritime transport operations. The electrotechnical installation onboard was carried out by Piet Brouwer Elektrotechniek.
Automation by Marble
Marble Automation delivered the alarm monitoring system, the UMS including the MS2006 UMS extensions, and the tank reading system onboard the Demi K. The alarm monitoring system gives the crew direct signal the moment something in the machinery needs attention. The UMS makes it possible to run the engine room without crew present there all the time, while the tank reading system gives a clear overview of the tank levels, like fuel and water, at any moment.
The cooperation between Piet Brouwer Elektrotechniek and Marble Automation went smooth from start to finish, as both companies know each other well from earlier projects in the maritime sector.
